Final Kansas wildlife commission meeting of year rescheduled for November

The Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism Commission has rescheduled its final meeting of the year from Oct. 19 to Nov. 16 at the Bryan Conference Center in Scott City.

The afternoon session will begin at 1 p.m. and recess at 5 p.m. The evening session convenes at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend both sessions, with a public comment session at the beginning of each for non-agenda items.

The commission plans to vote on a variety of regulations and amendments during the evening session. The meeting’s agenda will be released in late October.

The commission has typically conducted its final meeting of the year in October, but had to move it to November because of a scheduling conflict.
