Outlook: Jaguars scored at least 46 points in all of their wins and topped 60 five times. … Season ended with 60-14 loss to Pike Valley and only other loss was to Division I semifinalist Burlingame. … Graduation claimed potent 1-2 punch of Clayton Fowler and Danen Kistner. … Fowler was a two-time All-Eight-Man Division II first-teamer and last season racked up more than 2,300 yards of offense, including 1,613 yards and 37 touchdowns rushing, while Kistner added 1,600-plus yards. … Barrett in first year as head coach, taking over for Lewis Whitson who is now at Marais des Cygnes Valley.

Lebo Wolves

Coach: Troy McArthur (7th year).

Outlook: Wolves returned to playoffs for first time since 2011, falling to Hutchinson Central Christian 108-62 in the first round. … Baldwin was first-team All-Eight-Man II selection after making 49 catches for 746 yards and 13 touchdowns. … Wolves will have to replace big senior class which graduated, including 1,000-yard passer Drew Ott, all-league lineman Jeff Irvin and leading tackler Shae Crouch. … Reese had 120 tackles and recovered six fumbles. … Reese and Baldwin are lone seniors on roster.

Madison Bulldogs

Coach: Alex McMillian (2nd year).

Outlook: Bulldogs return bulk of backfield, but must replace leading rusher Brett Stubbs, who had 935 yards and 11 touchdowns. … Maltbie was leading tackler as sophomore with 121. … Talented freshman class will add much-needed depth.

Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans

Coach: Lewis Whitson (1st year).

Outlook: Whitson becomes Trojans’ third coach in three years, taking over for Brandon Wise, who is now an assistant at Osborne. … Whitson coached last four years at league rival Hartford, going 9-2 last year. … Trojans scored just 92 points last year, 52 of it coming in lone win against Altoona-Midway (52-6). … Trojans started two freshmen and two sophomores last year and only had 11 players total.

Southern Coffey Titans
