Women's city tournament yields first-weekend leaders

Brian Granger joined the men’s 300 club, while Rick Schauff claimed another spot in the senior men’s series top 10 to highlight last week’s city bowling action.

Granger recorded the 26th men’s 300 (including two by seniors) during a 210-300-162 — 672 outing last Wednesday in the Little Eight League at Gage Center Bowl.

He also ranks second (779), third (772) and ninth (729), and has nine 700s overall. The 279 was Schauff’s third and ties for seventh.

The women were led by Angel Rosdahl, who rolled 212-242-219 — 673 in the Friday Mixer League at West Ridge, where Rachel Barber tossed a 259 game the same night in the Showcase League.
