Holidays bring honor roll scores to city bowlers

Trapp, Springer, Ross post top-10-ranked series; Grame, Barrand rolls 300s

There was plenty for city bowlers to celebrate during the two-week holiday stretch, with Craig Trapp, Michelle Springer, Angie Ross, Neil Grame and Rodney Barrand leading the way.

 

Trapp moved into seventh place on the men’s season honor roll with a 267-278-244 – 789 series in the JPJ & Associates League at Gage Center, where Grame and Barrand joined the 300 club. Grame shot 204-300-235 – 739 in the Gage Gents League, while Barrand rolled 213-300-188 – 701 in the Gage Bombers League.

Also at Center, Jerry McCart and Rick Cochran each tossed a 299 game.

Springer leaped into third place on the women’s honor roll with a 268-279-192 – 739 series in the Tuesday Nite All Stars League at Center that also gave her ties for third and eighth on the games list.

Ross, meanwhile, tied for eighth with a 278-197-217 – 692 series in the Little Eight League at Center, claiming sixth place for games in the process, while Chelsie Bahr tied Springer for eighth with a 268 game in the Party Time League at Center.

On the senior side, Rich Sears grabbed 10th place with a 232-224-269 – 725 series and tied for sixth with a 279 game at West Ridge, while Dennis Uhl moved into second with a 299 game at Center. Ann Dick, 215 – 589, and Marsha Moore, 223 – 582, paced the women.

The youth were led by John Baeten, 236 – 666; Preston Millard, 260 – 647; and Gabi Millard, 221 – 592, at West Ridge. The youth were on break at Center.
