Letter to the editor: Real locker room talk

FILE - In a Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 file photo, President Donald Trump turns to talk to the gathered media during a Christmas Eve video teleconference with members of the military at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster, File)

I played on my high school football, basketball, track and baseball teams. I used team community showers.

I was in a fraternity and on the football and track teams in college (community showers).

While in college, I spent two summers in Alaska territory, working on a railroad bridge gang (community showers).

I served as a USAF pilot during the Korean War with air crew changing rooms and, yes, community showers.

I owned a meat packing company with community showers for slaughterhouse crews. I was exposed to many high-testosterone environments.

I never once heard the “locker room” or “boys will be boys” talk voiced by Trump.
