The Topeka City Council’s economic and community development committee Thursday will discuss ideas put forth by social service agencies for improving the city government’s process for vetting applications for grant funding submitted by nonprofit agencies.

That topic is among items on the agenda when committee and council members Michelle De La Isla, Sandra Clear and Tony Emerson meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the first-floor conference room of the city’s Holliday Bulding, 620 S.E. Madison.

Members will also discuss their priorities for carrying out that process next year, according to the meeting’s agenda
