Bunk bed, rims, tires among items listed as stolen on Topeka police reports

Here are the latest Topeka Police Department reports, as of Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018.

News from the Topeka Police Department:


— A 24-year-old woman reported a 2015 Nissan Altima was stolen between 8 and 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, in the 400 block of N.E. Emmett St. in the city’s Oakland neighborhood.

The car’s value was $15,000, according to police reports.

— Greentouch Lawn and Tree service reported someone stole four tires and rims between 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, and 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, from the 3500 block of S.E. 21st

The value of the stolen items was listed at $1,600.

— A 29-year-old Topeka man reported the theft of a bunk bed from a residence in the 4200 block of S.E. Chisolm Road between 9 and 11:28 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28.

According to police reports, the bunk bed’s value was $478.

— The Valeo Crisis Center at 400 S.W. Oakley reported $450 in criminal damage between 8:40 and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10.

A glass window was damaged to the tune of $250, a window frame worth $100 also was damaged and a door handle was damaged, with the loss of that item estimated at $100.

— A 46-year-old Topeka woman reported the theft of unspecified automobiles between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, from the 1200 block of S.W. Fillmore.

The total loss was listed at $1,900.

— America’s Best Value motel, 3802 S.W. Topeka Blvd., reported damage to a window between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30. The loss came to $500.
