Police looking for 2 armed suspects after Lawrence Kwik Shop robbery

Lawrence police were investigating a morning robbery Tuesday at a convenience store near the center of the city.


The holdup was reported at 2:17 a.m. at the Kwik Shop, 845 Mississippi St.

According to Lawrence police, two white males entered the business brandishing firearms and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

The robbers then fled the business to the northeast.

Officers who responded to the scene weren’t able to locate the men.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
