A man sustained injuries considered life threatening in a home invasion Sunday evening.

The incident was reported to Shawnee County dispatch at 7:50 p.m.

Topeka police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of N.E. 24 Highway. Upon arrival officers found a home invasion had occurred. An adult male victim, a resident of the home, was located and transported to a local hospital by ambulance, Topeka police Lt. Kelvin Johnson said.

No suspect information has been released. The investigation is ongoing, Johnson said.
