Artist collective to host gallery grand opening Saturday in downtown Topeka

Two Wolves Studio & Artist Den relocated from NOTO

Two Wolves Studio & Artist Den will host a grand opening Saturday at its new location at 114 S.W. 8th, Suite 2.

The event starts at 5 p.m.

The gallery was established in the NOTO Arts District, but recently moved to downtown Topeka.

“We are excited to move into the new location,” said owner and core artist Alexander Lancaster. “We’re looking forward to our artists and gallery being part of the events that are happening in downtown Topeka.”

The event Saturday will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and artwork by eight members of the Two Wolves Artist Collective and eight guest artists. The theme of the show is “Like the Sun We Rise.”

Collective member Dan Brennan said the new location will facilitate collaboration with downtown businesses, and he expects the arts to continue to grow downtown.

“I think we’re going to see art all up and down Kansas Avenue,” Brennan said.
