A 53-year-old Baldwin City woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle, rollover crash in west Lawrence.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday on US-40 highway about three-fourths of a mile west of 27th Street in the Lawrence city limits.
The patrol said a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck was westbound on US-40 highway when, for an unknown reason, it left the roadway and entered the southwest ditch.
The truck continued westbound when its tires were caught in the field, causing it to overturn. The vheicle then rolled three to four times, coming to rest on its wheels facing north.
The patrol said the driver, identified as Patricia D. Shay, was ejected from the truck.
The patrol said Shay, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
Her condition wasn’t available early Wednesday.
