A school bus clipped with a minivan Wednesday morning near Farley Elementary School just southwest Topeka, authorities said at the scene.

No injuries were reported in the collision, which occurred around 7:45 a.m. at S.W. 33rd and Gisbourne Lane.

A Shawnee County Sheriff’s deputy said the school bus had no children in it at the time of the collision, which occurred just northeast of Farley.

Sheriff’s deputies at the scene said the school bus was headed east on S.W. 33rd and was attempting to make a left — or northbound — onto Gisbourne when it clipped a minivan that was stopped at a stop sign facing south on Gisbourne at 33rd. The minivan was stationary at the time, deputies said.

Neither the female driver of the minivan nor the driver of the school bus was injured.

Some damage was sustained by both vehicles, but both were able to be driven away.
