Stabbing victim who walked into Topeka hospital Thursday not saying much to police about incident

Topeka police were investigating a stabbing incident late Thursday morning but weren’t getting much information out of the victim.

 

Authorities said the stabbing victim walked into the St. Francis hospital emergency department around 11:35 a.m. Thursday.

Police were notified of the man’s injuries and went to the hospital to interview the victim.

However, police on Thursday afternoon said the victim wasn’t being cooperative and that there had been no determination as of 1 p.m. where the stabbing occurred.

The man’s injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
