Just off Interstate 70, winding through the hills just a tad northwest of Lawrence, you’ll find Aunt Netters Cafe, nestled on a quiet Lecompton street.

Aunt Netter — or Annette Nally as she’s also known — runs the cafe with her husband, Jamin Nally.

Annette is the baker for the cafe, and prepared this week’s Food Find. It’s a slice of peanut butter pie: starting at the bottom there’s a flaky crust, chocolate ganache, peanut butter cream cheese, chocolate pudding and topped with homemade whipped cream. It’s a local favorite, available daily.

In addition to the cafe menu, Aunt Netters offers baked goods: about four cupcake options, scones, cookies, cinnamon rolls and a variety of pies.
