Quote of the day:
"Does anybody really believe that a reporter, who nobody ever heard of, "went to his mailbox" and found my tax returns?" -- President Donald J. Trump
You almost have to feel sorry for the Trump haters today.
There they were, sitting there in their mom's basements waiting for the bombshell MSNBC's very own Rachel Maddow promised was coming.
At 8:00 p.m. (eastern time) she would be releasing the long awaited Trump tax returns for the world to see.
And the Trump haters rejoiced!
They gathered together in anticipation.
They popped popcorn.
They threw a few soy dogs on the grill for the occasion.
This was it.
They finally had him.
Hillary Clinton's claim that Trump hadn't paid any taxes for 10 years would be validated.
And his Russion connections would finally be exposed!
Tonight, Donald Trump would be destroyed!
They rejoiced some more!
What they got instead was a whole lot of nothing.
What they got instead was the fact that in 2005 Donald Trump made a little over $150 million and paid almost $40 million in taxes.
What they got instead was the fact that he paid almost 25% in taxes.
What they got instead was the knowlege that Donald Trump actually paid more in taxes than their beloved Barack Hussein Obama and their crazy Uncle Bernie.
And what'd the American people get out of the deal?
A good laugh.
And the satisfaction of witnessing yet another left-wing conspiracy fall apart right before our very eyes...

Heh. Good one.
It was, as promised, a 1040 form, almost certainly leaked by Trump himself (note the CLIENT COPY stamp). And yet, so damaging. It proved that he's either lying about his net worth or he's a lousy businessman who makes a 1.5% return in a bull market. It proved that his tax plan's primary intended beneficiary is Trump. Oh, and it proved that he's lying about his reason to withhold his taxes from the American public, since the White House posted them almost immediately.
Yeah, people wanted a silver bullet to kill this werewolf of a presidency once and for all, and this wasn't that. It's just a brick -- not even the the first -- in a big, beautiful wall.

Lol... I see someone's been issued their left wing talking points...
Epic fail is right! What the left leaked and hoped is not even close to what they hoped. The left is not only evil - they are stupid as well.
How funny. Trump leaked this himself. It is CLASSIC Trump! He tries to control the day with another shining object to distract the oh so predictable media. And it worked but only for a DAY. He CHOOSES the tax return to deflect from the Russian conversation and his LIE about being wiretapped and the disaster that was the press conference yesterday. Spicer going out and saying that Trump didn't really mean 'wiretap' because he put it in 'quotes' LOL.. and he didn't really mean Obama did it personally?? Oh, because anyone in their right mind ever thought that Obama did?? He is trying to backtrack his LIE. What better way move the conversation but to release a 13 year old tax return. It had CLIENT COPY written right on it!! Oh, Kev.. nice that even you can see the humor in our Liar in Chief on this one!! Trump just doesn't get it. THIS LIE IS NOT GOING AWAY. He can gaslight the Trumpbots into believing he didn't say what he said or mean what he said but not the rest of us. Not this time.
Interesting.." Trump 2005 Taxes were leaked and Rachel Maddow published them. Many were disappointed, not only were they from 2005 but they did not have all of the supporting pages, just the top two. He paid taxes, and nearly a fair share of them — which was shocking. There are a lot of questions, though, and one of them is how the two different years of Trump taxes we have seen are so different. And why this particular year was leaked. The answer may be very simple.Trump married a non-citizen in 2005.
Why that matters is that as her sponsor, and joint filer, their joint returns were required to be made available to the federal government in order for her to remain here on a Greencard, and again to get her citizenship. You have to show that you have no problems with the IRS to become naturalized.
She was naturalized and received her citizenship in 2006, freeing them from that requirement."
Tax returns marked Client Copy are often provided to prospective lenders and investors as part of the lender's due diligence requirements to support the level of income and other financial information claimed by the borrower. Anyone in that bank or investment group with access to the due diligence files could have access to and could have leaked this information. Given the large number of lenders and investors involved in Trumps deals the potential leakers easily number in the hundreds if not thousands. Client copy stamp does not prove or disapprove any claim that Trump leaked these himself. Also, if these aren't signed copies then they may not accurately reflect what returns were actually filed.
Lol... And the meltdown continues.
The conspiracy theories continue.
The never ending Russian conspiracy that's resulted in one dead end after another continues.
The hate continues.
And the inability to come to grips with reality continues.
Wouldn't it be easier to just accept the fact that you lost the election and move on?
More fake news!!

Please stop talking about my crummy Obamacare replacement plan that doesn't cover everybody like the LIE I told but instead takes away insurance from millions of people who voted for me.
